9 to 5

I made my 9AM meeting! And then, man, what a grueling day! There were tons of things to do. Change around phone extensions...add a new user...troubleshoot an application problem with remote tech support for two hours...etc etc. I wasn't planning on staying very long (because I didn't KNOW there were so many problems there), so I brought no lunch and only a few dollars. Luckily they have teeny little microwaveable easy-mac containers in our vending machine now. Finally at around 4 I was ready to walk out when a user with a virus...or something...that's been rapidly filling up his hard drive for days now stopped me. He couldn't boot at this point. I fixed the boot problem, but by then my brain was mush and I was really really HUNGRY, so I just sort of spun my wheels on the hard drive problem. Called Hubby to ask if he could pick up the bookies. Told him I'd get cash for ordering in because I was starving and no way was I cooking. Left at 5:30 in a brain dead, hunger shaking fog. The guys were watching Mr. Bean's Vacation, which they thought was hilarious. I'll have to watch it another time, I couldn't concentrate on anything. Collapsed in a chair. Please call for food, honey. I'm sooooooooo hungry. He has to wait until a break (!!) then finally, glorious, delcious turkey hoagie!!

How do people do this every day? I realize how lucky I am to be able to stay home. This has swayed me in my decision making a bit. Clearly, Guy needs someone there to help him every day, so that things don't accumulate like this.

But tonight, I am logging in to try to attack that mysterious hard drive problem, because I'm PO'd!
