My muscles are weak

I'm too lazy to fix the template. Maybe later this week.

Things have been boring. Nice and quiet. Perfect!

The boys need to get out though. They seem to spend more time wrestling and pummeling. We haven't even really had enough snow to go play in.

Yesterday, in some fit of who knows what, they broke a spindle on the staircase. (They're cheapy things, really. I once broke one myself with the vacuum cleaner. Damn Home Depot!) Hubby went up to try to rustle them into bed and by his reaction, I could tell something was wrong.

Later, after he'd calmed down, we tried to find out what had happened.

"It was the cat," says Oldest.
"Uh huh," steams Angry Dad.
"It was Oldest," says Surprise.
Oldest flexes, Arm N Hammer Style. "Wasn't me! My muscles are weak!!"

We couldn't get it out of them, and as punishment, there was no TV today. No TV! On a Friday, which is Spongebob day. (We've had to limit Spongebob to one day a week, because it's broadened the boys' vocabulary in a very bad way. "Idiot," "mediocre clarinet player" and "barnacle head" are used frequently in our household.) Since Oldest had off from school too, it was more of a punishment for Mommy.

The other highlight of the week was that, after finding people on Facebook, I realized that every single person I've ever known in my life is still thin. This inspired me to start a new aerobic routine. If an ankle is broken, you can't walk on it, right? I'm thinking it's just an achilles tendon thing.
